dumb question, but does Iowa call their colors gold and black. Always been yellow to me
Regardless of shade of gold, Iowa isn't a locomotive emoji. Kid is either leaning Purdue or messing with someone.
I don't think he was referencing your post as 'dumb' rather thinking his was.Sorry I asked such a dumb question. Did someone wake up on the wrong side of their cage this morning?

LOL. Yeah, I mean I know they are an optimistic bunch, but that's quite a reach. Maybe if a recruit from the state of Iowa uses a hawk emoji he's representing the Purdue griffin. Some Iowa fan said it was reference the Hawkeye express. And apparently they refer to that ugly yellow as gold. So at this point, I am not sure, but CJB has to stop that Iowa pipeline to Indiana. I would like to see at least 5 of the top 10 Indiana kids go to purdue and I don't think that is an unrealistic expectation. The Indiana '19 class is loaded with top end talent.

Correct. I'm still looking for an answer to MY dumb question though... Screw it, just googled: apparently they DO call it gold and black. Lame
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner but have been working my tail off the last couple days non-stop and haven't had time to post, but I owe you an apology Granger. I misinterpreted your comment to be a swipe at me and reacted to it. I am man enough to admit I was wrong and am sorry about that.
