Just give Swanigan some minutes

There was a Biggie thread here during the summer when he was dominating the summer league. We were all excited by his success but it was noted by a small group that this success would not be sustained in the League this season. He was going to struggle and probably get rookie treatment and minutes.
I agree that he just needs NBA minutes to figure out what he needs to do to achieve the same success vs the NBA varsities. But there seems to be many egos and agendas within NBA teams that need to be taken into account and overcome for young players to get that honest opportunity and chance.
We just have to hope Biggie eventually gets that opportunity with whichever team it is, because he will do whatever he needs to, to succeed if given that chance.

he was drafted by a team that already had a power forward, and also drafted another one in the first round. it's a great situation to learn, but not a great one to display your talents. on the other side of the coin, the Bucks drafted Michigan's Wilson before biggie, and all he does is sit on their bench and collect DNPs. regardless of the talent level, a young player needs some game time minutes to hone his craft.

He's a rookie, honestly this is the best thing for him. He's making a good salary, and getting a lot more playing time than he would be in the NBA. He has a career to look forward too, plenty of time to log minutes his 2nd or 3rd year and beyond.
