I am thinking if Markell is in fact the best option going forward for RB as Brohm stated the game plan was centered on him last week prior to his injury...would it be better to medically RS Jones if he is going to miss more than 5 weeks?

if that's the case, then yes.

sucks for Jones if the plan was to center on him.

before he went out with injury,
the first drive went to fuller, and the next two he had 1 target and 0 carries.

a question would be, if he's going to be out 5 weeks, how many more weeks will it take him to be 100% healthy and also to incorporate back into the offense? I 'd hate to have Jones back and have him only be a back-up and carry the ball 3 times for 9 yards for the first two weeks after he returns. while the injury may only be 5 weeks, he would technically be a non-factor for 8-9 weeks. and is that worth bringing him back this year?

This is a good point because I don't think he is one of those quick healers. His shoulder injury really stuck with him and he never seemed to get better...but that could be Hazel letting him come back to quickly to salvage his job.
