Anybody watching this game? It is the worst college basketball game I have watched in years. Frankly, it is not "organized basketball" to use Painter's phrase. Chaotic, dribble-crazy, shots being jacked up, no defense, whining at the refs, players drawing attention to themselves...etc.

It is a bad AAU basketball game on steroids. Everything that ales America is on display here :)
 
IU just lost. 21 turnovers and gave up 22 points on those turnovers, terri-bad.

And man, Bill Walton must be smoking something gooooood.
 
that was the worst/sloppiest ending ever. wow.

was so classic seeing unlv players by iu's huddle, since iu had no timeout in the first place, lol.

they'll be unranked next week.

Dribble, dribble, dribble, jump and turn it over. Sooo laughable that all the idiots thought IUs guards made IU elite. I'm sure Crean will get them to play better. Can Yogi please stay as long as Crean does. He's great. Hahahaha Hooosiers
 
Walton is embarrassing himself and his family. He needs to just go ride his bike before he does something he regrets.
 
Sorry guys, but I think Crean is probably out after the season. He needs time to write his memoirs: "How to lose with an abundance of talent."

Bill Walton either does not watch many basketball games or has taken too many shots to the head in his playing days.

Our niece went to South and was in Hulls' class. .They were close. She said Hulls and Zeller basically coached the team when they were there.

You all may come to regret this. If we get rid of Crean and get a decent coach, you may come to rue the day.

I enjoy watching athletics played properly. I never regret seeing mediocrity stamped out anywhere. Same could be said for Purdue football right now.
 
Crean deserves a 5-year extension. Guy is a basketball genius and we will be lucky to stay within 20 down in Bloomington.
 
I know for sure that it was posted on this board that IU's defense was really, really improved for this year!!!
 
IU was so overrated this year and they proved it in all 3 games in Hawaii. After taking a 42 point beating at the hands of Vandy, St John's played IU to within 10. And that 1 unimpressive win was sandwiched in between 2 losses to teams that every IU fan on earth expected to beat. I can't wait for PURDUE @ iu.

I guess now we know why Snu's experts had them ranked so much higher then us.

They wanted to watch a meltdown.

I knew they were over rated. But i didn't expect us to pass them up 5 games in.

The worst part is they really brought the stature of the B1G down.

Between them and Wisconsin, we now look like a three team league.

You didn't mention the worst part….Walton commentating.
 
Walton should not be on TV, period. James Blackmon is one of the most overrated players ever. Yogi should have gone to a school with a coach that could have helped him develop in to a true point guard. He has no chance in the NBA. Crean, like much of the IU fan base, does not deal in reality. Reminds somewhat of DH at PU. I honestly feel sorry for any kid that chooses to play basketball at IU.
 
This is so great.

The Hoosiers are completely melting. The team, the fans, Peegs is totally melting, more than likely the admins, etc etc etc.

It's pretty glorious all around. Maybe we can really ram it in and take them down on Saturday.

As a Purdue fan, what I'm thankful for: Crean still runs a sloppy ship, on & off court. IU's/Crean's basketball turnover rate, both on court errors, & off court players is much more than any thankful Purdue fan could ever ask for.

Steve Alford would be better than Crean, the fan base loves/worships him & he teaches defense, team defense & accountability/responsibility as well, on & off court. Crean is 180* from Izzo, & learned nothing from Tom while he was at MSU.



My Christmas present = Crean at IU forever.

Like Peyton Manning as a Colt/Bronco. Easiest job in the world, is to coach on a Peyton team.

No one on the Celtics is on the hot seat and anyone that follows the NBA knows this. If you don't have an elite team the best strategy is to stockpile young players and draft picks, which the Celtics are loaded with. The fact that Stevens is somehow able to keep the team in the playoff race even with this strategybis amazing, and there are quotes from a lot front of front office execs and players saying so. Ainge and Stevens are both safe for a long time.

It,was a matter of degree. Ainge has to produce players first so to me his seat is the most vulnerable.

It would make me sad to see Coach Crean gone, he is the face of Iniana basketball.
