Actually, it's pretty amazing that IU can't balance its books what with this type of free money. I'm amazed adidas would spend this kind of loot for an AD with the historically worst football program. Doesn't matter if men's soccer, baseball, hoops and a few other programs are good when half the athletic department is a complete wreck. Hard to believe adidas wouldn't throw away more money at Purdue than what Nike "matched" recently. Then again (looks at recent record)...
