An engineer I used to work with found it. I recall reading about the same thing a few times over the years and so we don't really know how much this happens...falling in place to all the other things we didn't know that happened...AND wouldn't have known had Trump not been elected. Think about that...we wouldn't have known a lot had Trump not been elected. You know there was waste, fraud and general corruption for many years...some finding its way back into the pockets of others. I just wonder on the money trail that couldn't be traced due to no identification...how much existed there. Thankfully, DOGE has that fixed for any others in the future that care. Not preventing duplicate soc numbers poses a huge problem as well.
We should all be rejoicing in what is being found rather than quibbling on what the final savings may be...because it is a savings today and the future and an attempt in not kicking the can down the road as the debt grows
