Wow....that's a break. Still, Alexander, Graham, and Brown really need to get their acts together.
Purdue 1/5 on 3rd down - certainly not helping. They also need some intensity to start the second half.
Wake Forest has had a nice year, but with Clemson's demise, the ACC basically turned into a big sink-hole.
Let's come out this half and show what we can do!
That was about as bad a first half as we have played in a while. Still up 17-7 and fortunate to be. I will take it but we have to clean things up in the second half.
I know with hindsight it’s easy to say we shouldn’t run 3 times on the last series but we ran 2 times for 9 yards. If we were 3rd and 2 or more we pass 90% of the time but I would have ran on 3rd and 1 too. Looked like they were begging us to run it down their throats.

Yeah I am not all that concerned with the 3 run plays because as you said, on two of those runs we had good gains.
I'm very concerned about the defense and the sloppy, lazy and out of character play. We only have 17 points and that has a lot do with not getting indinia off of the field and giving up way too many stupid penalties.
Even I don't have that much booze.
Alright offense.. time to take it to them.
