Just my opinion on the Purdue coaching search. Why not hire Troy Calhoun? Maybe using a unique offense like what they do at Air Force, would work well in the Big Ten? It's always been my dream that IU could hire a Paul Johnson type of coach that can score points and win successfully with lesser talent. Schools like PU and IU will never be able to recruit on the level of most Big Ten schools. Which makes what Joe Tiller did and to a far lesser extent, Kevin Wilson, pretty impressive. Offensively.

I'm open to Calhoun but if we hire him I really hope he leaves the option behind at Air Force. We discussed him on this board not so long ago and someone mentioned that he doesn't really run a traditional option type attack at Air Force. I don't know if I've seen Air Force play so I can't comment but I'd much prefer some sort of spread passing game.
