I sometimes have a hard time understanding how a player with so much touch around the basket could struggle as much as TKR has on free throws. I think that he has the ability to be very good at the line if he can just keep it simple and relax. If he can keep this up, it raises his game to a whole different level.

Painter mentioned something post-game.....noting the 9/9, how much he continues to work on them.....and that he was being more still - first time I heard Painter addressing any form adjustments. TKR does have a good touch for a low-post player - we'll see going forward, but he was very solid yesterday, as was the rest of the team for the most part in that department.
 
In the past there was a player, maybe not on Purdue’s team that was such a bad ft shooter. That he started shooting FTs from the corner of the ft line as if they were jumpers. He could make angled shots but not from straight on .
