Jones rolls for 150 yards and 2 TD's while Blough throws for 255 and 3 TD's. Second team gets a score and EKU rolls off 17 in the second half to make it appear the game was closer than it was.

However, I could totally see this being a nail biter as it was against ISU. Not sure ISU had the horses that EKU appears to have, especially having Mauk at QB.

Picking us to lose vs. a FCS team isn't likely. I don't doubt it could happen but they are one of the few teams we will line up against this year that we are definitely more talented than.
I'm not going to call you a shitty fan but you just aren't being realistic if you think we're going to lose. We still have some players. It will be VERY hard for them to run the ball on us.

If EKU throws up 300+ yards on the defense and keeps the defense honest with 75-100 yards on the ground, it could spell some difficult times ahead for the Boilers in the coming weeks (especially Cinncy).

The reason we easily could lose is because their players give a f*ck, and will want to "shock the world". You know Hazell is a bad coach, and we know this is game one with a new system. This has all the makings of a disaster.

Guess I had never picked up the story about Mauk's drug usage. Once I heard his name being used as a potential QB on Saturday, I wondered what had happened to him at Missouri. Hopefully he has been able to get in to a treatment program and get himself and keep himself clean.

Meh, no matter, has was TE coach and ST coordinator at Tennessee but has never been an OC. New staff, no starting QB named, I just don't see how they score 45 points right out of the gate.
