The formula to beat Purdue is well known by most teams now. Keep us under 70 points, pressure us and force turnovers and put us on the line. It's been the theme all year with our losses.

  1. Sasha shouldn't be playing - if he can't shoot - he is worthless on the floor. In his last 4 games he is 6 for 26 (23%) -with half of those makes coming 4 games ago where he was 3 for 9! He's been awful. Maybe it's his finger - but if he isn't healthy - he does't need to play. In fact - I would argue both Morton & Newman could produce more.
  2. IT is not just not viable backup PG right now- his minutes the last month or so have been poor. Hunter playing great - limit IT's floor time. You can have Ivey and/or Morton bring the ball up.
  3. Play the hotter hand at center - yes the overall stats for both centers looked good vs. Iowa (we still lost) - so stop the every 5 minutes substituion pattern. We didn't win regular season with it - or tourney. Definition of insanity
Painter will not change anything - therefore we have an uphill battle in tourney.
