by the wrangling going on regarding the Dems $3.5 - $5Trillion spending spree? What disturbs me is that the discussion is not at all about what programs they want to implement. All they're talking about is "What's your number?" for the Legislators, who don't want to waste that many of our hard earned tax dollars on frivolous, unnecessary government spending programs, which never seem to go away.
So the focus now is only on HOW MANY TAX DOLLARS can we waste and NO ONE will have a clue about how that "number" will be allocated, should they arrive at a number.
Imagine a business operating like that. Board members arguing about how much they'll spend, without clearly defining what the money will be spent on and what the potential profit/benefit they hope to derive from the money being spent. This wrangling in Congress sounds more like a bunch of kids arguing about how much money their parents should spend on them for Christmas, rather than giving their parents a list of what they need/want.
Is this the kind of representation you voted for?
