Iowa State fan here...

Like you crushed Iowa twice? ISU owns the hawkeyes the last 5 years....LOL
Take the Iowa games with a grain of salt. We are playing our best basketball of the year the last 7 or 8 games. We beat MSU once & took them to the wire in the BTT. We are not unbeatable, but we are unlike any team you've played this year & if your coach doesn't know how to make adjustments to take us out of our game, your going to get buried. All of our losses except Butler came in the B1G, which we were very well scouted. If you guys try to prepare for us in 1 day, I think you will struggle. My fear is more when a team has a week to prepare for us (much like Butler did).

I'm just concerned about the 2nd round. We just haven't done well this year against teams that start with the letter "I".

(I use strategy like that as well as who's mascot can kill the other mascot to fill out my brackets)
The "I"s have it

Yeah, please just be willing to come back here after the game, if you get the far. Thanks, and good luck. Not trying to be a dick, but I'm just stating the truth as a matter of fact. Sorry, if that offends you.. On a side note, since the Iowa loss we have learned to use a smaller lineup. One that features Swanigan at the 5. So, if you have a stretch four then know we out scored Indiana over a 8 minute period by 16 points featuring that smaller lineup... Good luck.
You are actually stating an opinion.

Looking at ISU box scores.. Your starters play TONS of minutes. Your team conditioning must be phenomenal. Surprising to me, the wins against KU and OU were on only 1 day rest. I was expecting Purdue's depth to be an advantage.. now I'm not sure (outside of foul trouble). Still better to play you Saturday than Thursday I think.
Foul trouble is more of a concern than conditioning. The altitude may change that but when Niang gets in early foul trouble it becomes a battle.

With all due respect to everyone, lets figure out how to put a whoopin on Little Rock and then figure out what to do next. Looking ahead is dangerous.
Not trying to be a dick... :D but I don't think that the fans looking ahead is going to put the team in danger. On the other hand, if the TEAM is looking ahead...

I didn't say overlook. i say get some staff to prepare way in advance, some teams do it, some dont, winners do. just ask kansas when larry brown was there, rick pitino when at KY, Izzo does it masterfully, just unbelievably masterfully.
Wait a minute here. I thought your last post was to be the last post in this thread per your decree.

Would love to have a serious discussion about our potential matchup if you guys have any questions. Really looking forward to it, one of the most interesting match ups of the first weekend.
Good luck. Purdue can cause serious matchup problems. 10 fouls to give at center and a lot of blocked shots. They should of been a 3-4 seed.
They are beatable, but just played about even with AP #2 team in the country Sunday.

good luck to you guys too, don't care about the seeds too much just got to play well vs whoever we draw. I have more of a problem w/ who got selected like a Cuse w/ 13 losses and some recent scandal while letting out a deserving team like Valpo.

UALR has no shot at Purdue. As fans, there's no need to dwell on the obvious, UALR is going down by 30. It's OK to look ahead.

Boiler Up, you bat rastard most hated rival !!

Good luck Hawkeyes against the Owls you scoundrels andTMHR.....wanted payback in the BTT.
