Very complete first half. Still a couple silly turnovers but Smith and the guards/wings shredded Iowa's press with little drama in the last 8 minutes.
Painter had Morton come off the bench first tonight and he balled out rewarding his coach's trust. His passing/rebounding/defense were electric in the first half. I give credit to Matt for the move because it was the right lever to pull.

Agree Morton has been an absolute stud tonight. They aren't scoring and he is a big part of that so far......and these guys can put up points in a hurry. So his role tonight cannot be understated.

Thornton was his #1 improved. Don't know if you have seen him yet, but he gets it done. OSU looks very good with him running the show. Powerful guard looks like a fullback out there. He will be a handful for Purdue
