Seems awfully low.

Last 3 Iowa home games:
beat OSU 55-24
beat Minny 17-10
beat Illini 45-14

And we are going with a combination of a banged up 2nd string QB and a 3rd string QB who hasn't attempted a pass yet.

I think they are predicting the classic Ferentz playing to the level of your competition game.

I think 7.5 is generous to Purdue, especially if Sindelar isn't 100%. I'm guessing Iowa will win somewhere on the order of 31-14.

Key injuries, not enough play makers on offense, and close losses have compromised what once looked like a promising season. BUT, the state of the program is still much better than the directionless drift and the demoralizing beat downs of the Hazell years.

Agreed. And this is not some over-arching comment on the job Brohm is doing, but just looking at this game, I think we are severely overmatched. Iowa defense might score more points than the Purdue offense. If I had to guess I'd say 27-10.

I don't like to bet against my team, but if I did, I'd be taking Iowa giving the 7.5 all day long.
As much as I want and hope for a Purdue win, I see a 35-10 iowa win.

Some of it may be due to the weather forecast, which is calling for 43 degrees, winds out of the NW at 21 mph. Really going to neutralize a good deal of the passing game for both teams.

Shows what that idiot knows! Boilerup!
