This was a who dat daddy level game. Bryson Scott showed em who their daddy is. Bryson said listen up and listen good. Fort Wayne level. Number 3 ranked IU got lil daddy spank. They came in thinking they had an auto-win locked up. They had this game chalked up in the win column long before today. Then Bryson Scott came in and said who dat daddy. The same way that Georgia St. nearly beat Purdue (and should have for that matter), never mind on Purdue's home floor...thus, laugh if you wish...and I don't blame you at all for doing so, as I am enjoying what happened as much as anyone else admittedly, but, the shoe was real close to being on the other foot just a few days ago and rest assured that the feeling from the other side would have been mutual.

Let's get one thing clear. Nothing....NOTHING, that Purdue does this year could even come close to the embarrassment of the IPFW debacle. Shine it all you like. Spin it into oblivion. Make excuses. In all fairness Crean was coaching...he just needs to get substantially better talent than IPFW. I thought he already had that big of a gap in talent. IU plays loose under Crean and has since he has been there. IU is fully capable of getting beat by teams with a lot less talent they way they play. The flip side...if all is going well, they can beat anyone. Discipline left IU when Crean arrived...

While I also root for the B1G in general, I NEVER root for IU in any situation. The only way I can see rooting for them is if their win would secure us the B1G championship. Otherwise, I root for IU to lose every game every single season.

As I've noted on KHC several times, back in the day when IU played Russia I rooted as hard as I could for Russia.

Damn right. Remember the crap we got for losing to Wofford? Losing to IPFW was worse and all of this is just karma.

If they make the tournament its a possibility, but if not, there is no comparison. We started 4 freshman and we weren't ranked. IU starts a potential 2 top 10 draft picks and possibly 3-4 NBA players. IPFW has not won a league title to get them anywhere yet.
