I guess if we could actually put a 2 minute drive together, that timeout would matter. My bad...Can't take em with us, so that doesn't bother me as much.

A statue of a turd laid on an offensive playbook...The winner of the game should get a statue of an offensive playbook.....
Neither would know what to do with it...The winner of the game should get a statue of an offensive playbook.....
The winner of the game should get a statue of an offensive playbook.....
THAT is what it has come to...We need the defense to score if the offense can't.
I thought it has been primarily a prevent OffenseWhy is Purdue in essentially a prevent defense suddenly?
Cant believe we trotted Plummer out there again
And, THAT is in "ultra aggressive" mode somehow...I thought it has been primarily a prevent Offense
That’s far from the issue ..I hope we have enough players to even finish the game. Good lord
Wow6-3 @ the half....Illinois gets the ball for second half kick-off.
at least Rutgers is getting beat.I hope we have enough players to even finish the game. Good lord
It shows the team is poorly coached. This is the second time it’s happened this year. Can't take em with us, so that doesn't bother me as much.
It is but the bigger problem is that … look. When you have Horvath and bell and you’re creating space and mismatches due to extra attention, plummer may be better …Yet, an issue...
?It shows the team is poorly coached. This is the second time it’s happened this year.
We didn’t end up needing the timeout this time, but waste enough TOs and it’ll end up costing us.
you'll see AOC to start withSooo, halftime adjustments lol. We have beat a dead horse here, as couch officials, let’s see what kind of strategy our offense rolls out in the second half.
Well, ideally we would have used them in a 2 minute offense situation to score some points. But...?
Where would you have used them?
If "(w)e didn’t end up needing the timeout this time", it really doesn't provide any evidence that the team is ... "poorly coached".
Yeah, good observations. I don’t want to take credit away from the Illini D, maybe they are playing very well and our receivers are absolutely smothered out there. We just don’t see that with the tv cameras focused in the backfield. We knew this game was going to be a struggle with all of our #1 options out on offense; however, good teams just finds ways to win. I understand the next man up mentality but that starts at the coaching level. You can say it but whether or not the kids buy into the mentality is wholly on the coaching staff.Well, that was a great first half for the defense. The offense started out well enough-- but settling for two first quarter field goals took a lot of luster off it, and then it just bogged down in the second quarter. Plummer hasn't been terrible, but he has missed some throws that could keep drives going.
It will be interesting to see where Brohm finds offense in the second half. It looks like Dylan Downing is going to get his chance.
.... those would probably have been for Illinois.Well, ideally we would have used them in a 2 minute offense situation to score some points. But...
when, on 4th down?Well, ideally we would have used them in a 2 minute offense situation to score some points. But...
Has to be, right?
And repetitions in practice. Guys farther down the depth chart just don't get as many.Yeah, good observations.
