Yes....except they shouldn't be that disorganized would be the counter. Going to have to make some adjustments for the second half.....one mistake could cost them the game the way this is playing out.

Me neither. AOC throws the ball before the receiver is open, Plummer has to wait till he sees the receiver open.
And, THAT is in "ultra aggressive" mode somehow...

It shows the team is poorly coached. This is the second time it’s happened this year.
We didn’t end up needing the timeout this time, but waste enough TOs and it’ll end up costing us.
It is but the bigger problem is that … look. When you have Horvath and bell and you’re creating space and mismatches due to extra attention, plummer may be better …
When you’re playing straight up and you need someone to take chicken shit and make chicken salad.. Oconnell is just better. With him it’s at least 14-3
Well, that was a great first half for the defense. The offense started out well enough-- but settling for two first quarter field goals took a lot of luster off it, and then it just bogged down in the second quarter. Plummer hasn't been terrible, but he has missed some throws that could keep drives going.
It will be interesting to see where Brohm finds offense in the second half. It looks like Dylan Downing is going to get his chance.

My prediction is AOC will start second half and lead us to victory and will be named starter next week
Well, ideally we would have used them in a 2 minute offense situation to score some points. But...
Yeah, good observations. I don’t want to take credit away from the Illini D, maybe they are playing very well and our receivers are absolutely smothered out there. We just don’t see that with the tv cameras focused in the backfield. We knew this game was going to be a struggle with all of our #1 options out on offense; however, good teams just finds ways to win. I understand the next man up mentality but that starts at the coaching level. You can say it but whether or not the kids buy into the mentality is wholly on the coaching staff.
I wouldn't be surprised either way....Brohm took the blame coming off the field, but he also hinted that Plummer didn't do a good job handling the pressure and offense after the first two series.
And repetitions in practice. Guys farther down the depth chart just don't get as many.
Has to but it has been so obvious that AOC can anticipate the receiver getting open and Plummer has to wait to see them open. That gives the D time to recover and T-off on our receivers. Why are we not starting AOC?
