If IU pulls off this class of Sisley/ Mullins/Haralson/Reibe.....

He just got another top 100 commit in Ryder Frost. Evidently a 6’6” 3 point sniper with solid all around game. He played with CJ Cox. I’m hoping we can beat ND out for Singleton if it comes down to us two.
I don’t think singleton would go there with them signing a player earlier who plays the same position. However, I guess the same could be said about us having a lot jam at the 3 and 4 next year. Northwestern seems to be our main competition for him from what was posted earlier on here.

My guess is Mullins is not going to UConn now. Darius Adams just committed to UConn. It’s likely down to UNC or IU. UNC will be best bet for early playing time but IU being in his backyard and his teammate Sisley committing there is a big pull

Yeah makes sense that UConn would be out. Saw chatter on X that UNC is going to be making an in home visit this week. They have states they want two guards in the 2025 class (they just had a 4 strar CG commit last week) and want Mullins pretty bad.

Edit: apparently Hurley is still going after Mullins hard. He wants Mullins to play the 3 and selling him on the cam Spencer role. So this will be interesting as it goes on

Dennis is moving his commitment date up. Davis trying to get Mullins to commit before Isaiah Dennis does. That’s not going to happen.

Well Indiana has the help of guy like Carl Cook and Mark Cuban. And will likely end up doing what Tennessee is doing by adding some sort of extra percentage to tickets that goes to players.
100%. I think if MP came out and said 'we need to raise $X' for NIL Purdue could drive a big boost in donations, but Purdue hasn't historically had those mega-donors to athletics and likely couldn't reach the IU level, even if they wanted to.

UConn just got Reibe.
I remember Purdue was recruiting Reibe pretty early and hard. We had a visit set up and Reibe seemed interested in Purdue. Paint decided on Jacobsen and dropped out of pursuing Reibe. I wonder how those decisions play out over time as it appears Reibe is a top center in this class. It’ll be interesting watching how they both play out?

Since he went to UConn, I think both will be good. But I trust Paint and Coach B to develop Jacobsen better.

Didn’t they both play for the recent USA team, U-19? I remember reading that Jacobson played much better than the higher ranked Reibe.

If that's the case the OP's question on these 4 dudes to iu.....just went up in flames.

Looks like UConn going to be a handful for a few years. They are on a roll. Hope we get them again in a NChamp game again ....soon.

I really dislike Uconn's coaches personality. Arrogant narcissist. But give him huge props for RESULTS.
Interesting. Hmmm🤔🤔

I'll acknowledge I enjoy the way UConn plays. They play high iq well coached basketball. But, they also get a lot of credit for their offensive creativity. It seems like the genius behind that creativity is Bill Murray's kid. I dislike Hurley as well. I would like to see how he would fair without Murray on his staff.

So it went from IU is going to get Sisley, Reibe and Mullins to only getting Sisley.

Last year they got a kid from MontVerde then their season went south and he decommited.

Not saying history is going to repeat itself but it is certainly setting itself up for a repeat.

Their recruiting doesn’t matter because I’m hearing this is the best team they’ve ever assembled! Wait a second…I heard this last year too. And the year before that.
