Let me see if I understand your point: You don't want Spack but think he should be considered for the job.
Isn't the very act of talking about him, his record, and his past (as most on here have done) "considering" him? Instead of acknowledging the consideration people have put into the matter, you assume they are "dismissing him out of hand".
Please list what must be done, in your opinion, for someone to have respectfully considered Spack before they say "No thanks". I think I've done enough consideration on Spack.
