since he came back, the players that were stepping up have regressed. They kind of remind me of us when we had Ronnie, so good that you had to play him, but hurt the team when you did play him.

Illinois is getting smoked by Michigan early-up by 13 but again it is still only in the 1st half.

Looks like the ILWhine-I saw how well our game plan worked last Saturday that they are gonna give it a try today.

Looking like NIT material to me.

Illinois fans that troll this board will disagree, but Groce is not a good coach. Even if they come back to win this, I still stick by that statement.

to me Illinois has no heart, they have some really good athletic players who play when they feel like it

^This has been Illinois MO for years. So many top 50-75 recruits and such mediocre results. Seems like they've had a lot of guys with attitude/behavior issues as well.

Who was the head case a few years ago who got thrown in prison for threatening his parole officer?

I think Jalen Coleman should back out of his Illinois commitment and walk on at Purdue now:)

I don't think Groce is proving to be a very good hire by Illinois.

Well, I guess the Illinois loss frees up a little space on the bubble, but it's probably space below Purdue.

We need Illinois to get in tournament... need a bigger net for the big10 reputation.

Last week I talked of my experience dealing with ILWhineEye fans and referred to them as IU Lite. Holds true today. Team has some talent but plays a god awful undisciplined style. Now the "fans" are eating their young. "No talent". Coach needs to be fired, etc. Seems like the same fanbase but nobody yet calling for a trip to the Pacers game to recruit BS.
