One of the underappreciated "surprises" from last year's squad was overall improved FT shooting, which did include departing seniors Ray Davis and AJH. IH and CS should get plenty of opportunities this coming year. Hope they and the rest of the team can keep up the momentum from the charity stripe.
That's good to see but last season Purdue shot their best overall FT percentage as a team in 13 years, so it's not like they were poor from the stripe in '15-'16.
I realize that and tried to word the title not to say they weren't already good last year. I hope they are even better this year. But as Tex said above, we lose some good shooters. Time for the others to step it up from last year.
