Honestly, did anyone expect a different result?

I expected a win, but not is such heroic fashion. The big guys came to play. If you told me before the game that CE, Mathias, and Cline were 3-8 from 3 I would have assumed we lost by 20. Gotta give Painter credit too. He kept the team on track and made half time adjustments. Sitting Haas because he was too slow to keep up was a bold move.

Sitting Haas was not a bold move, it was am obvious move....not sure why he even got 2 minutes in the second half

No, I thought we should win it
Even covered the original -3 line

I was surprised/ glad to see us finish +13 FT in the second half

Isaac was 2-8 from the field. Is that what you want from a 7'2" player
I thought IH forced some shots today. ND was getting away with pushing him away from the basket in the first half & he took some shots that were out of his range. Ironically he drew 3 fouls in is 2 second half minutes. I thought CMP might use him a little more in an offense for defense move down the stretch, but glad now that he didn't.

Did I expect a different result? Not really, but in fairness, we are the most consistently successful team in the state, and it's not even close. o_O

I think he did force some shots. I think moving more skill on the perimeter with Biggie and Vince still having enough size to board and score inside was working well enough that Matt wasn't going to change the MO that was clearly in favor of Purdue towards the end.
