Isn't this almost exactly what happened last year with JT? I was thinking he was hurt during pre season practice, and was only supposed to be out a month or so. It turned into him out for the whole year. He can't catch a break. His feet might be worse than Hummel's knees.
I don't remember the year, but he was he was hurt after the exhibition games where he looked very promising.
This really sucks for JT though feel this kid could have been really good without the injuries. Seems like Purdue is always cursed with injuries.
I understand wanting both, especially now. But it is still fairly crowded. Getting both would have been tough to achieve as each knows one is gonna sit.
I assume that Painter promised Dowuana that he wouldn’t take another big in order to get Dow to commit.
No chance both would come to Purdue with Trevion Williams already committed. You’re showing you lack of understanding of the game.
As of right now I'm not counting on JT next year or this year. So basically you just be sliding Castleton in to JT's spot. And how does taking both of them show the lack of my understanding of the game? Everybody here is counting on JT to play meaningful minutes this year and next year as of right now it don't look like that's going to happen.
He is ok spoke to Chad the trainer will be ready for season. I reached out to him about my son bcuz 2 years ago my son broke his ankle and when I had heard about JT I wanted to no were they were monitoring my son too and they are. Anyway painter will get what he needs but JT is gonna be fine trust me.
I hope so I just know every time Purdue looks like they're going to do something they have a key player get hurt. But for JT's I hope he's fine he deserves to have a healthy season so we can show everybody what he can do. My fingers are crossed
Treed - I think your insight is absolutely fantastic and it is very much appreciated, but just a word of caution on sharing inside info. In this case I don't think there is much to be concerned about but you may be privy to info about the team that you might not want to share with us Knuckleheads. Just some advice from a standpoint of being cautious.
Are you the same person that said there was nothing wrong with jt, even though he was wearing a boot. Precautionary?
At the time that was posted I imagine it was "precautionary". Let's not go too overboard on something that is a moot point now.
Hopefully JT is back in a month and has a long healthy career.
I'm going to be delicate here, but the article in the local paper today said Haas was JT's roommate.
If this is what you are referencing, they were freshmen roommates. I assume that Painter mixes it up each year but that is just my assumption.
He isn't everything you read is not true sir. Shares an apt with 4 other players including my son.
Let me set this record straight seems some of you questioning what I no and that's perfectly fine. I do no what I no bcuz I communicate with every coach, trainer and strength trainer on the staff why? to see how my son is doing in the classroom and in practice so other information is shared with me as well bcuz I read what you read and I have concerns just like you when one of my son teammates is hurt so I ask questions to those coaches and trainers even more so bcuz my son had a similar injury several years ago so I wanted to make sure he was being monitored as well.
Any chance the staff is very selective about the information they share to a parent who shares information on a public message board?
Because Taylor hasn’t walked away from the game and he’s not in the same class as Dowuona and Williams.
i no what some of you all trying to do and I'm not falling for it but I'll take the high road and not respond to some of these remarks. It's Ok i kinda open that can of worms trying to give some of you insight on what I no,but I see now how that might have been a mistake. You live and you learn and I'm learning what a message board is all about and now i no how to handle it moving forward. I'm a big girl and trust me I can handle myself. I fear no one besides God himself and I embrace him in my life and heart bcuz I no my intentions and why I came on this board and tried to share my experiences for those who haven't been through what I have been through and share what I no behind the scenes. As some caution me I get it now and Moving forward I will be very careful I sharing what I no. Peace out.
It's me and I have spoken to a person on this board. I also met one at the scrimmage in August at the game on this board who approached me. You will see me at Mackey Arena very soon can't miss me I'll be wearing my son #20 jersey.
So what I can't be on a message board and say JT is ok from what was told to me so that is breaking a rule. I haven't revealed anything on this board that is wrong. I'm a fan just like you my son happens to be on the team and I talk to him and some of the coaches seeing how team is doing and when I read same story many of you read I was concerned I called got an answer and shared with the board bcuz I felt JT is very important to this team this season and some of you made speculation about what happened to him and I wanted share with you what was told to me that he was ok bcuz I was concerned about his health and I wanted to check to make sure that my own son was being monitored bcuz he sustained and injury similar to JT several year ago and wanted to make sure they were checking on my son as well. you have heard the last of me and I'm moving on. Been real
I love that Treed1967 posts here and I consider it a privilege to have that kind of insight and unvarnished information. I can't tell you how excited I am to see her son play.

Whoever Treed is, they are closely aligned with a player. People who continue to doubt and harass this person will be banned.
As to what information can be shared, any information she obtains can be shared unless told specifically not to do it.
Then take the doubt. Just know it is very thin ice.
