What the hell. I never compared Purdue with Alabama. I've never said I expect Purdue to beat Michigan this season. In fact, they are among the most likely to beat Purdue this season, when you look at the remaining schedule.Not sure about the defeatist, loser mentality part. However, after two games I do admit I am raising my expectations, just not to the point where I wouldn't take a D1 FBS team seriously. I still think this team will be much better in a few years once Brohm gets his players. That was my point in case you missed it. But I'm sure after the first two games now some people (the non losers) will be expecting a win against Michigan and then bashing the staff if we lose. For this season, I prefer to be excited and even surprised with outcomes like last night's game instead of merely pacified and comparing ourselves to Alabama. On to the next game!
I wouldn't bash this staff, because they are just getting started and they are the real deal.
