He committed to IU, then LSU, went to ND and then transferred to Cincinnati. That's a head case.He really isnt.

While I agree that he is not necessary a head case, never mind one in the sense that Jeff George was, to suggest that his college path is more common than thought is not remotely accurate.Sure it is. Lol
It's more common than you think. No bearing on the kid.

The kid is very talented...but that is not the issue obviously. As mentioned above, had he simply stuck with is original decision and gone to/played at IU, he would be a virtual legend there and likely would have had far more success than he has at any of his other stops.
I do not find the situation to be amusing, never mind hilarious...if anything, it is sad (to me at least). No reason though that he cannot write a happy ending to the story though still...this year and beyond for that matter.
From the story, it sounds like a critical piece of not being the starter this year is recurring problems associated with past injuries. Hardly hilarious.
Perhaps you missed the part about the mysterious "personal issues". Head case. From the story, it sounds like a critical piece of not being the starter this year is recurring problems associated with past injuries. Hardly hilarious.
If these issues stem from his injuries, I can't help but wonder if they are painkiller related. That would be no laughing matter - as it can lead to heroine use. it's pretty much an epidemic with young athletes who have been injured.Perhaps you missed the part about the mysterious "personal issues". Head case.

Speaking of talking out of anus, you have no inkling what the personal issues were. The issues were a product of the injuries. You're talking out of your ass

No... I didn't. Here's the text... perhaps you're the one who missed it:Perhaps you missed the part about the mysterious "personal issues". Head case.
"He has “personal issues’’ and hasn’t spoken to the media since last year."No... I didn't. Here's the text... perhaps you're the one who missed it:
So… how does that guy become today’s guy, no better than a first or even second alternative to Moore?
He has been hurt a lot: Ribs, concussion, now the shoulder ache. He has “personal issues’’ and hasn’t spoken to the media since last year.
Clearly, the recent shoulder injury is what is keeping him from playing, according to this author, hence the "now" reference. I would have no idea as I don't follow Cincinnati football. What I do know, is that I'm not going to sit around and laugh at Indiana high school kids who have a mixture of medical and personal issues keeping them from playing sports. That's deplorable.
Good grief. His lack of speaking to media is not the reason he isn't playing. He isn't playing because he has physical injuries - and perhaps - mental/social/emotional issues as well. You think that's funny. Maybe a child of yours will have health issues one day and you'll post about that... and I bet 100% of responses you get from people will be to console you, not laugh at your child's problems."He has “personal issues’’ and hasn’t spoken to the media since last year."
Yes, that's very logical. My shoulder aches so I'm not talking to media.

I didn't say that Kiel's lack of speaking to media is the reason he isn't playing. That is your distortion of my comments.Good grief. His lack of speaking to media is not the reason he isn't playing. Note: it's 100% because - with you as the poster - you won't be included in the denominator of "respondents".
You linked an article about an Indiana kid who has physical injuries and other personal issues that are likely to prevent him from playing a sport he's pretty good at, potentially good enough to make a career out of. Your exact comment was: "HILARIOUS!" There you go... that's distortion-free.I didn't say that Kiel's lack of speaking to media is the reason he isn't playing. That is your distortion of my comments.
Kiel was a prima donna out of HS and he is indeed a head case like Jeff George. He flipped, then flipped again and then flipped again. Then he transferred to a non-P5 school. He has "personal issues" and he's not talking to the media. One more time: "Head Case".You linked an article about an Indiana kid who has physical injuries and other personal issues that are likely to prevent him from playing a sport he's pretty good at, potentially good enough to make a career out of. I should probably listen to TOKen... perhaps you are like someone who's been in the news a lot recently that has a tendency to avoid ever owning up to his own statements and instead says other people on the internet are just distorting his words.
His problems are in his head, not his injuries.Never in good taste to poke fun at those injured, hurting, or suffering in different ways
Grow up
So, you two would have that in common, then. His problems are in his head, not his injuries.

Wow...a kid who cared what his mom thought. How AWFUL!You understand that Gunner switched from LSU to ND because that's what his mommy wanted him to do, right?
And it worked out so well that he transferred after one year.Wow...a kid who cared what his mom thought. How AWFUL!
So what?An athlete transferring isn't news. Happens all the time at Purdue. And it worked out so well that he transferred after one year.
You are not honestly debating the issue. A transfer is not unusual. So what?An athlete transferring isn't news. Happens all the time at Purdue.
Based on what do you come to this conclusion?but let's not pretend he wasn't/isn't a slight head case.
Nope. Don't credit unnamed sources from anonymous internet posters. No offense.First hand knowledge by people who spend time around him, good enough for you?

Sorry but my bullshid detector just went off.I know people in the CIncy ad too. Comparing him to George is way off base.

Not to interrupt, but I know several people who know Jeff George pretty well, and they all say he is a really nice guy. One of them thinks his issues stemmed from not being a born leader, and also not caring to spend a lot of time on football, away from the field.I know people in the CIncy ad too. Comparing him to George is way off base.
