Our guards are going to give team fits by the end of the year. Last night doesn't count or prove anything. That was (less?) than an inter squad scrimmage. But the defensive abilities of those 2 frosh is eye widening. Not gonna take that shooting as proof of anything yet.

For sure. Team is going to take some lumps this year, but hopefully paints lets them play through it to learn and gain experience. Hopefully we compete for the conf tourney and are playing our best bball by end of Jan/mid Feb.

Opportunity there if he can be in position more than not, rebound and defend.

So far been a mixed bag though. It's early.

Yeah strange. He didn’t even attempt a shot…and did he vs Creighton? I mean I know offense doesn’t run through him and plays probably aren’t drawn up, but we need him to be aggressive and rebound if we are going to do well this year.

Reminds me of Mason Gillis his Junior year in that he would often pass up open shots. Our players need to be aggressive on offense.
