What do you think is going to happen on Saturday?

Here's my typical pessimistic prediction. My hope is that being at home is what cures our problems, but I fear that Illinois is going to be able to pressure us out of the game. Illinois should not be able to hang on Hammons and get away with it in Mackey, but they have quality wing players that are going to be able to get pressure on us in the half court and make it difficult to get it into the post. They will also full court press us a bit too.

Another problem is that Egwu has the ability to hit the occasional 3, so he'll be able to pull Hammons out away from the basket. Illinois is #1 in the country in free throw shooting. Can we stay in front of their guards well enough and without fouling when Hammons is pulled away from the hoop?

What is Purdue's mindset going into this after two losses? Illinois is coming off two wins.

Mackey should be rockin', but I have a bad feeling about this one.... Illinois 68, Purdue 65. Of course, I've had a bad feeling about every game since December, so..... take it fwiw.
