I think part of the reason Octeus might have left there was due to the possibility of less playing time, as CSU added a couple of transfer guards (John Gillon, Gian Clavell) that have played a key role for them this season. Either way, CSU got screwed out of a bid. However, it was/is indeed fortunate for Purdue.
