You didn’t answer the question and I’m genuinely curious why you think he’ll eventually be a good HC.The same could have been said about Locksley…

It’s honestly an odd stance to take IMO. Could he end up being good? Sure, I guess…. I could also end up winning the powerball too. I definitely wouldn’t bet on either happening though. It's his mom's burner. No use trying.
Its really just a gut feeling. I think he will figure it out and use the failed experience to get better. He's a good DC, HC was to big yet.You didn’t answer the question and I’m genuinely curious why you think he’ll eventually be a good HC.
I guess if I had given up when I failed as opposed to bet on myself, I'd not be successful today. Lots of people probably wouldn't have bet on me either. It’s honestly an odd stance to take IMO. To start with he has no skill in evaluating talent.Ya. Why can't he?
Allegedly. I'm not sure I agree though. Talent wasn't the issue last yearTo start with he has no skill in evaluating talent.
I keep hearing that in terms of making Walters out to be as horrible or moreso than he was. I would counter with, everything was an issue last year. Coaching, talent, schedule.Allegedly. I'm not sure I agree though. Talent wasn't the issue last year
Schedule and coaching yes. Coaching made the talent look way worse. No chance a talentless roster would send half their starters to the NFL or a playoff team. Look where Purdue players transferred to. They had .500 talent with that schedule. Coaching made said talent worse.I keep hearing that in terms of making Walters out to be as horrible or moreso than he was. I would counter with, everything was an issue last year. ??? Must still be talking about those amazing WR's. As I said last year STARS do NOT equal talent. Talent was one of the issues.Allegedly. I'm not sure I agree though. Talent wasn't the issue last year
I'm waiting for Tom to announce his breaking news On3 about the 5 stars walters had recruited.Schedule and coaching yes. Coaching made the talent look way worse. No chance a talentless roster would send half their starters to the NFL or a playoff team. Look where Purdue players transferred to. They had .500 talent with that schedule. Where did I say anything about stars equaling talent? Or anything about WR’s. Did you even read what I said???? Must still be talking about those amazing WR's. As I said last year STARS do NOT equal talent. Talent was one of the issues.
I literally just said coaching made the talent worse. Can you not read? I'm giving no credit to Walters for any drafted players. This isn't hard. Just read.I'm waiting for Tom to announce his breaking news On3 about the 5 stars walters had recruited.
Also if you are blabbering about Thieneman he gets no credit for that. What other players is he supposedly being given credit for being drafted? Name one player he improved.

I said he had talent on the team last year. Never said he recruited it. We didn't get a chance to see how good the recruits he got were and the transfers he got never had a chance to be good because coaching was so bad.No chance a talentless roster would send half their starters to the NFL or a playoff team.
You think he recruited talent. When he really didn't.
But to your talentless roster. No chance a talentless roster would send half their starters to the NFL or a playoff team.
You think he recruited talent. When he really didn't.
Lol his issue was inexperience. So yeah, not being young and inexperienced will probably help him.Because he’s proven to be a historically terrible coach…. What about his head coaching tenure makes you think he will be good other than that he’s still young?
If only we gave him 8 more years for that experience. Let's hire him back you and boilern convinced us..Lol his issue was inexperience. So yeah, not being young and inexperienced will probably help him.
Other than Thieneman who cares..But to your talentless roster.
Hudkins to Iowa
Ball to Minnesota
Bouldin to Mississippi state
Omonode to Minnesota
Levy to Wisconsin
Lewis to smu
Davila to Nebraska
Breedlove to asu
Green to asu
Brevard to Texas
Crimmins to Illinois
Browne to unc
Wingfield to usc
Klare to osu
Rigby to Oklahoma state
Grant to nc state
Karlaftis to northwestern
Heldt to clemson
Tibbs to Kansas state
Grant to Texas tech
Edrine to Virginia
Thieneman to Oregon
Biber to Minnesota
Moussa to Louisville
We know brohm went after mock as well.
Mbow selected fifth round
Hartwig, Stewart, and Ojata udfa signings
So 7 guys transferred to playoff teams. 4 are getting shots at the NFL.
That's 11.
Plus another 17 transferred to P5 teams. A total of 10 were good enough to stay in the big ten.
And again, I'm excluding mockabee from all of the above.
So tell me again there wasn't enough talent.
Would it probably help him? Sure. Will it make him a good head coach one day? I sure wouldn't put money on it.Lol his issue was inexperience. So yeah, not being young and inexperienced will probably help him.
Idk why you are putting my name on this? Makes zero sense with what I said.If only we gave him 8 more years for that experience. Let's hire him back you and boilern convinced us..
Good thing our AD gave a coach without high school experience the keys to the car.
This is your response to saying the roster had no talent last year then getting proven wrong? Whats your problem? Honestly? Why does me saying Purdue having talent last year upset you so much?Other than Thieneman who cares..
The players listed had shit stats. What do you want me to say. The list had one good player. This is your response to saying the roster had no talent last year then getting proven wrong? Whats your problem? Honestly? Why does me saying Purdue having talent last year upset you so much?
I wonder why they had shit stats??? I bet it had nothing to do with coaching….The players listed had shit stats. What do you want me to say. The list had one good player.
The rest will be 2nd or 3rd string or transfer again.
Yawn. I guess we can revisit end of season. Non of them will be impact players except for one.I wonder why they had shit stats??? I bet it had nothing to do with coaching….
And Klare is going to be TE1 at osu. He had better stats than theineman last year. Theineman got worse. But sure. You can use a hypothetical “they will be second and third string” to prove your stupid point.
Looks like cole brevard is projected to start at Texas. Same with Heldt at clemson. I've only googled 2. You are 0-3. Want to keep going? So what did we learn? You are wrong and coaching matters.
Moving the goalposts again. LolYawn. I guess we can revisit end of season. Non of them will be impact players except for one.
What goal posts. Non of them will contribute. You can tally the non existent stats and necro this post 7 months from now if you are right. But you won't be.Moving the goalposts again. Lol
None of them will contribute you say. Based on absolutely nothing but your gut… if they were bad, they wouldn't have transferred up or laterally. What goal posts. Non of them will contribute. You can tally the non existent stats and necro this post 7 months from now if you are right. But you won't be.
No one said hire him for 8 more years but ten years from now with additional experience he could easily be a decent coach. No one knows, and pretending he's the worst coach ever ever forever is just stupid. If only we gave him 8 more years for that experience. Let's hire him back you and boilern convinced us..
Good thing our AD gave a coach without high school experience the keys to the car.
Well forgive me if I don't care about your vast coaching evaluation expertise over decades. I have no idea bc the problem was that he was thrown into the deep end of the pool with little experience swimming. There's no way to assess his future from that. All you can assess is he was way too green to handle such a transition which required not only maximum regular coaching ability but also a new ability to get portal players to fill out a roster that was fairly barren.Would it probably help him? Sure. Will it make him a good head coach one day? I sure wouldn't put money on it.
You're sticking up for ryan walters head coaching ability. Not much else to say. What an all-time dumb position to take by a poster whose opinion I couldn't care less about.Well forgive me if I don't care about your vast coaching evaluation expertise over decades. The idea that he can't do that ever ever 20 years from now is just stupid silly.
Yeah I'm going to add reading comprehension to the list of things you need help with. You're sticking up for ryan walters head coaching ability. Not much else to say. What an all-time dumb position to take by a poster whose opinion I couldn't care less about.
Crazy that because he was bad at purdue, he will forever be bad and because they don't like the Walters era, Purdue also had no talent. Can't look at the situation reasonable and move the goalposts when you show them otherwise.Yeah I'm going to add reading comprehension to the list of things you need help with.
Pot meet kettle.Yeah I'm going to add reading comprehension to the list of things you need help with.
We clearly had talent judging by the landing spots of many of our transfers. Makes walters look even that much worse.Crazy that because he was bad at purdue, he will forever be bad and because they don't like the Walters era, Purdue also had no talent. Half the starters either went pro or transferred to a playoff team. Heck, one guy got drafted. But no talent…. Idk what their issue is.
Not per boilergold88. No talent. But we all knew they had talent going into last year as well.We clearly had talent judging by the landing spots of many of our transfers. Makes walters look even that much worse.
Based on what they produced here. You have a ****ing sample in your face. Yet you refuse to see it.None of them will contribute you say. Based on absolutely nothing but your gut… if they were bad, they wouldn't have transferred up or laterally.
But again, theinemam, klare, heldt, and Brevard are projected to start. Didn't look up any others. But none of these will play, right?
I'll gladly revisit this when klare, a guy you said wont contribute, is up for TE of the year.
Oh man you really landed with the whole "no, you are" retort.Pot meet kettle.
Says the guy who vomited out the same tired "reading comprehension, hurr durr" insult everyone else on the internet uses.Oh man you really landed with the whole "no, you are" retort.
I'm sorry your English teacher failed youSays the guy who vomited out the same tired "reading comprehension, hurr durr" insult everyone else on the internet uses.
Considering your prefrontal cortex never developed, your insults don't mean much.I'm sorry your English teacher failed you
