Fly Your Flag Fridays - Please Help!

The Boiler Business Exchange of Indianapolis has started an initiative to get Purdue flags flying all across the country on Boilermaker football game weekends. The request is simple. Go find your Purdue flag (or buy a new one) and fly it on your residence every Friday through Sunday of football game weekends. We need to show our neighbors that Purdue football is back and Boilermaker Nation is supporting the team like never before.

The second request is that you send a picture of you with your flag flying on your residence to events@bbeindy.com so that we can post the picture on a webpage specifically set up for this purpose. BBE has set a goal of posting 1,000 Purdue fans on its website with their flags flying in the next 30 days.

Finally, share this initiative on social media with your friends using the hashtag #PurdueFYFF and encourage them to send similar pictures of themselves to events@bbeindy.com for posting. Tag BBE on Twitter and Instagram @BBEIndy. Also, be on the lookout for some legendary Boilermakers from across the country who will be joining in the fun with their pictures.

I keep forgetting to put mine out and then they play the three best games I've seen them play in years. Now I'm afraid if I fly the flag they'll suck just like they did the last few years when I put it out.

I took enough crap from my neighbors the last few years (especially my IU friend) I guess I can risk it.

BBE would ask that people who are trying to send us their flag pictures hang in there. We have received such an overwhelming response to this initiative that it has swamped our inbox and we are currently prevented from receiving additional photos. Good problem to have!! We are working on the issue and hope to be able to handle more photos again soon. We will let you know when things are corrected and we are back up and running.
