Fauci is clueless. He was going to crush the virus back in the spring/summer 2020, by locking everything down. Then it was 6 months more, then again it was 6 months more, now again it's 6 months more.
Why anybody is still listening to Fauci is beyond me. His advice to get vaccinated is good advice for anyone at risk. Beyond that he is useless.

If people are getting infected at a higher rate, wouldn't that lead to immunity at a higher rate regardless of vaccination? End result is the same, just two different ways of getting there.
Yep, but Fauci doesn't really recognize natural immunity from infection as existing. Studies from Israel say natural immunity from infection provides better protection than vaccination.
He is an odd duck. We know cloth masks dont work very well. Yet Fauci preaches mask wearing non stop. Why not just advise N95 or surgical mask wearing for unvaccinated, instead of something we know doesn't work very well (cloth masks).
As long as the Pandemic continues, Fauci gets booked on talk shows and continues to be a celebrity. That's really all he cares about.
