I think perhaps we should have not only term limits, but definitely a law that Presidency, Supreme Court & Congress should be under 70...or some age both sides can agree on .

It was meant more of a tasteless joke than a strawman.

But age is the underlying issue when it comes to cleaning this up right? We're told elections are meant to clean it up, but staying-power and name recognition are hard to unseat, especially for people who only vote that way because these old saps are the OGs to their party and just assume it's their best candidate to beat the opposition since they are already there.

He asked, are you voting for your incumbent Senator or Congressman and if so why.
The answers were predictable.
If yes it was because their representative had brought in money (Federal jobs, Federal grants, infrastructure projects, military bases and the like) to their area if no it was because they had not.
And Paul Harvey said ' and there in lies the problem.'
It doesn't matter the good of the Country, spend, spend, spend in my district.
