Drop to #20

I'm okay with it. These rankings don't mean much until closer to the end of the season. Plenty of time to bounce back.

If we lose to OSU, but beat Wisconsin we might just hang on to the 25th spot. Lose both (I don't think we will) and we would have a huge hole to climb out of!

The season is half over this week...and Purdue is at the lowest point that it has been rankings-wise, with no margin for error this week.

Opportunities to make a big jump have passed, with a golden one this past week.

Purdue needs to quit bouncing back and start taking care of business and advantage of the opportunities afforded to them.

Thank god that we didn't rank no 25 last week, or else we will drop out of ranking. Ranking matters, yes.

I don't think all the opportunities to move up have passed. The next three games are a pivotal stretch. Going 3-0 (no easy task, for sure) will have Purdue right back in the thick of it.

It's hard to tell how things will shake out over the next 9 weeks, but right now, the last three games of the regular season look really big, too.
