Doesn’t it feel good…

To watch all of these good games today and tomorrow knowing we are playing next weekend already?

Great team effort today. Defense was solid and the offense found the shots they wanted.

Gotta love the effort and energy from the get go - sustained it well.

Kudos to Painter (and staff) - excellent game plan, and his players followed it today. Bonus is he has some instructive things to have the work toward but also some great positives with two really good productive games from the bench.

Think Agent Smith will be ready - Purdue will need him at his best to have a chance to move on.

very enjoyable, as I said during the season, always thought we were a 16 to 18th ranked team and this justifies it

Especially since we were the sexy upset pick.

Is Gonzaga that good? 😂

I loved being the second game Thursday and first today - I can now really watch these games very relaxed! Sweet 16 6 times in 9 years is pretty fing good
Painter talked about it in the post game conference after High Point. Said especially when you are an early to rise, early to bed type person sitting around waiting all day for a 10pm start really sucks.

I'm on the West Coast so a 9:15 am start was wonderful today for the same reasons you mentioned.

And it was also great to see pretty much the entire panel on CBS sports tout Painter and how good of a coach/person he is. I've always liked Clark Kellogg and even Chuck (in small doses) and both of them were not only commending Painter for the good person he is, but also how he is one of the top coaches in the entire country. Something some of our fans seem to not see for some reason.

Also it was good to see slick Rick lose. I've never had an issue with Calipari per se.. but Patino is slimy.. and he made such a horrible decision to not play his best players much .. or at all. He needs to retire.

Wasnt Izzo complaining about playing the late games?

Congratulations, a nice weekend for the Boilers. Now the cakewalk against inferior teams ends and the tournament starts next weekend.

No love for slick Rick for me either, but let's don't let Calipari slide. Having not 1 but 2 FF's erased because of cheating, he's a complete slime ball. It is the one thing I completely agreed with Knight about. He was always very vocal about cheaters getting in some cases better jobs after losing one for cheating. Media loves the guy, but he's scum for me.

Have to think that game yesterday featured coaches with the most vacated Final Fours (3) and NCAA titles (1) in history.
