Does Rondale Verbal to Us on Saturday?

I believe the confusion and cloud was created purposely to help build the moment! His trainer was the person who added those new schools to the mix! I can believe his mind was not totally made up on signing day! But our 400 yards passing and victory helped seal the deal! No WR wants to play for a team whose punter was named the MVP of their. Bowl game.

I have seen him play in person, and I believe he will live up to the hype.

As far as last recruit discussed this much in the recent past, our recruiting has been down for several years. Going back a few years, I would have to say Ray Edwards or Dorien Bryant.

Selwyn Lymon... still crazy to me to see him against Notre Dame and see him fall apart afterward

I think any of these players being mentioned would have played very well for Danny Hope. Danny Hope was a victim of the cost cutting by the AD and could not field a staff of assistants that fit the level of B10 coaches. His OC was actually pretty good and molded the offense around the abilities of the players. Improvements in the staff responsible for technique and fitness would have given them more flexibility leading to improvements in the running game. That would have helped Purdue close out games against big time programs like OSU and ND that were lost after having nice leads into the second half. That same flexibility could have applied to the defense as well and Purdue would have been in better bowl games. For those reasons, I always separate the Hazel years from the Hope years.
Frugal spending tendencies was one problem. The other that comes to mind is injuries. I believe that each year he was coach, there was a different starting QB.

Wasn't it that night? Getting shot in the eye playing "paintball" with bb guns on the golf course?

Yeah.. just a waste of talent. It’s one thing when you just don’t have it at this level like McBurse... it’s another Thing when you set the all time record for receiving yards against Notre freaking Dame by a ND opponent ... and then have things go the way that they went for Lymon... just a total waste of talent that .. If god had granted to Taylor Stubblefield.. he’d still be in the NFL and probably breaking records ...

Marve is another interesting one to me. He had moments.. but that guy could have gone to the U, stayed away from Evan Shapiro and all the other BS, and been great... I think he showed how good things could have gone in brief flashes here

Who was the receiver who hurt himself jumping the pool fence? One thing is we did seem to have our share of knuckleheads on some of those teams. It seems we either have more responsible guys now or the shenanigans are kept under wraps better.

Wasn't that Stubblefield?

I remember too when Kirsch had a good game and he got into a fight at a fraternity party that same weekend and broke a bone in his hand.

O
Did he stab her first?
If memory serves me..... he made the unfortunate decision to call her a bad name according to the police report..... An ill advised comment which resulted in a 6" blade plunged into his abdomen....

so what time should we tune in for the announcement? and rather than a cap, I'd love to see a jersey!

I was at the game....pretty sure it was against Stanford. First time he touched the ball was on a kickoff and he returned it for a TD. Lived on my floor at Tarkington. One of my good friends was a second string linebacker for Purdue and he said trying to tackle Smith was like trying to tackle a ghost. Too bad his talent went to waste.

He was electric on that play.

And a HUGE feather in our cap to land him.

Unfortunately . . .

Game starts at Noon EST and they do announcements different part of the game...
So idk
ok, so halftime would be about 1:30 -2 . but the announcement will definitely be in the afternoon rather than evening.

I was at that game too and his return electrified the crowd. I was thinking wow, he is just as good as advertised (if not better). However, he never really became the great back we expected. Had some moments, but not what was anticipated.

76-1 on the IU board claimed he was visiting IU and was going to commit there. Will round out th class that many of their posters claim will be mid-30's nationally. Delusion reigns there.
HAHAHAHA he never took a visit there from what I know

Kelvin Joseph committing in just a moment so Rondale should be declaring after him with a few minutes

second drum roll ......................................................... and the winner is ................................
