Does Colvin start tonight?

I don't know. I think Painter values Cox for his defense too much. So maybe, but I dunno.

Maybe you see Heide instead of Furst but I doubt it because he values the ability to have two bigs (relatively speaking) to counter the lack of rim protection.

So maybe he doesn't change after team meetings and great practices.

If they win tonight then he keeps rolling. If they lose, then I think you gotta do something different.

I think if we start slow Heide and Colvin are definitely getting in there earlier than usual.

I am curious to see the demeanor of two of the big 3, Smith and Loyer. Neither has seemed the same over the past 4 games. Smith seemed disconnected and not mentally engaged at times and Loyer has not been aggressive in offensive contributions except at the end of IU game. Something just seemed a little off with both to me. I also will be curious about the demeanor and usage of Colvin and Heide. Did the players meeting and individual meetings of players with Paint identify and/or solve any potential issues?

Colvin in for Cox. Cox has a bright future imo, but he hasn't been bringing it lately. If we are going to salvage the season and do anything special the rest of the way - tonight is a must win game! Perhaps Braden should shave the beard off to change things up.
