Have any of you ever seen a political environment like this?

We have a virtually incompetent president using executive powers to authorize billions (trillions really) of dollars like it was a swipe of a credit card. We have the trump (he took stuff) scandal and the Hunter Biden (he's sold his father's position) scandal. We have an environment where the politicians in charge throw money at the issue in an effort the get votes. Our stock market is manipulated (it is, don't even think it's not). We have serious criminals and terrorists crossing an unchecked border. Crime is determined by the $ amount caused. Our school system is designed to meet the minimum requirement & the public system is focused on gender identity issues - I'm all for mental health care identification, but this curriculum needs to be addressed to professionally assess those who need help. Our universities are 90+% liberal (based on where their research dollars come from) and shout down any dissension - the biggest concern of mine. The pendulum will swing back eventually and I don't think I'll like that version either.

Thoughts?

My parents were children of the Great Depression and with limited education built a better life for themselves than their parents had. My wife and I are much better educated and with that and hard work we are at this point in our lives living a better life than our parents. At 70 we have 4 adult children and 11 grandchildren. All 4 children are able to care for their families without assistance. I only believe one of our children will have a more prosperous life than we have had. I have a very bleak outlook for the lives of my grandchildren.

I have a few concerns:
A Justice system that doesn’t apply the law equally (big city DA’s who releases criminals right after they are booked, border laws not enforced, DOJ that targets individuals from the other party ….)

Class warfare which is nothing more than envy which is used as a means to promote socialism

Political correctness that hinders free speech

These are just a few that are destroying this country. An example that encapsulates all 3 is homelessness. Our country is afraid to call out drug addicts that are mentally ill and enforce property right laws by excusing their lawless behavior
