Certainly we all hoped for a better outcome but realistically as many and the Coach has said we are currently a team that cannot make many mistakes, turnovers and penalties and expect to win. Areas of concerns are certainly our Special Teams, pass blocking and defending our middle zone. The first three HAVE to get to a minimum for every game.
Still wondering out loud if we can continue to give both QB’s First Team reps during the week, why in the Red Zone and short yardage situations we don’t have our Fullback in the game as a lead blocker and what were the halftime adjustments to our offense?
We all said the Offense would have to carry the Defense early in the season and that has just not happened as in both games despite the two bad penalties the Defense overall has played better than anticipated but the Offense has just not scored enough TD’s to win!
