There will be a new flavor of the year next year. Campbell had been one for a few years. Babers was this year. Butch Jones was one for a while. Whoever it is we need to analyze the 4th place contender. I say go coordinator route/NFL guy at this point.Syracuse. Ugh. Really was thinking he could have been our guy.

Al Golden still out there. Hope PSU doesn't open up before we do. I figured Golden-Rutgers would be a fitYep,
psu would get someone better than Golden, maybe a coach like Dan Mullen who is a Pa. guy.Al Golden still out there. Hope PSU doesn't open up before we do. I figured Golden-Rutgers would be a fit

I still maintain 2 more years of Hazell. Will bet anything. Morgan promised he will ride with DH until the end. 2 more years and we can't afford $4 mil. So if looking for the next guy see who gets Mid Major jobs this year, if they have success the new AD 2017 will have a look.
Yeah I get that there's always a MAC flavor of the month (as we know all too well) but I would have bought season tix to watch babers offense throw it 60 times a game, and I think that's the offense that will succeed at purdue. Campbell runs it too much for my taste. There will be a new flavor of the year next year. Campbell had been one for a few years. Babers was this year. Butch Jones was one for a while. Campbell for me was better just because of the larger sample size, 4 years of recruiting.Yeah I get that there's always a MAC flavor of the month (as we know all too well) but I would have bought season tix to watch babers offense throw it 60 times a game, and I think that's the offense that will succeed at purdue. Yep this is right that there will be a new cast of characters/candidates for replacements and highly probable that we are stuck for a couple more years. This is disappointing to say the least. There will be a new flavor of the year next year. Campbell had been one for a few years. Babers was this year. Butch Jones was one for a while. Two more years of this and I might align with...............that school south! There will be a new flavor of the year next year. Campbell had been one for a few years. Babers was this year. I do enjoy seeing where guys end up. When Hope got hired it was him, Jay Norvell, Paul Chryst and ??? Hope was Hope. Jury is still kind of out on Chryst and today I saw Jay Norvell, swirling around the drain as the WR coach at Texas. Add that in with Bob Davie, Glenn Mason and Morgan has some doozies. Other than Butch Jones who was a pretty proven commodity who pantsed us and left us giving Darrell Hazell $2 mil a year guaranteed. Must be great to be held accountable by no one.Yep this is right that there will be a new cast of characters/candidates for replacements and highly probable that we are stuck for a couple more years. Hazell will not go before Burke does, so unless anyone at Purdue relieves Burke of his duties (despite the fact that he does not do actually do them already), which is just short of impossibly unlikely, Hazell will be here for two more years unfortunately...nobody at Purdue cares, as the only thing that they care about is cashing that nice B1G (literally and figuratively) check...that is all that Morgan cares about and all that those he "reports" to care about.I have been saying the same thing for months here, we have two more years of Hazell.
I believe this guy is going places, way more confident than Darrell Hazell ever was even in opening press conference. We missed out on a good one.
Even if he is old, he sounds very intelligent and understands the specialties of the program (unlike Darrell Hazell.) He oozes confidence (Again unlike Hazell.).He doesnt have many stops remaining (if any). He turns 56 before next season starts and schools traditionally do not hire coaches that have hit their 60s.
