Purdue didn't update its "official" depth chart last week in Gerad Parker's first week as interim coach. Not sure it will this week either, but there'd be obvious changes to make on the one it is publishing. Like no Tario Fuller, who hasn't played in weeks.

The most interesting development to the actual depth chart — the one verified by the game — will be to see how Tim Cason's role changes, if at all. He'll probably start again, but it'll be interesting to see if Myles Norwood is back (presuming he has been out with a concussion) and with freshman Josh Hayes finishing the game at corner, if Cason's snaps change. Purdue doesn't have many options at cornerback. Hunte played nickel in that package Saturday, allowing Hayes onto the field as a corner. Not sure why the team thought Hunte was more valuable as a nickel than a CB in that package. But it probably didn't want to put Antonio Blackmon back on the field for extensive snaps after he struggled against Iowa.

Would assume Cameron Cermin will be back against Penn State. He had his right ankle heavily taped for the game and didn't play at all. Mike Mendez got all the snaps at left tackle and played like a guy getting his first significant amount of snaps: Just OK. It'll be key for Purdue to get Cermin back for the stretch run. My money's on Patterson being done.

Jack Wegher would be moved into one of the KR spots, too, on a new depth chart instead of Malik Kimbrough. Curious how long Kimbrough will stay the primary punt returner. I thought he looked confused on a couple of decisions at Nebraska.
