The second one glanced the plant leg and could have been a personal foul, too. I've never seen consecutive running-into-the-kicker penalties, and also I can't recall one that was declined. Not good signs for the Bulldogs early.

I think they declined it because it was a decent kick and they didn't want to let a green punter get nailed again. Clearly there was a block scheme issue.

Yeah - I just hadn't seen that before.....considering he was the back-up and he had just gotten taken down twice, it makes sense. One of those days for Georgia - exemplified when a long pass play gets reduced 15 yards because an over-excited sideline non-player disrupts the side judge and draws a penalty.

That was a bad at best effort. No help to the green QB in his first start. OL incredibly bad.

ND pathetic on O outside of Love but when you hand the other team 17 points it’s always hard to win.
