Another site said that DJ is up 30 lbs to 250. Anyone have any sources/info to corroborate? If he is still as agile & mobile at 250, he will be a load to deal with.

I have no idea how much he tips the scale at. Unless he is asked to bang with larger humans I am not sure it matters. He is never going to be Zac size and I think some of his upside is his ability to move more than his ability to bang. I guess that could change as time goes by, but he does not appear to be built that way.

The increased weight will help him hold position on defense and deal with the physicality of D1 play, I don’t think anyone is asking or expecting him to bang down low trying to body up and move people around like Edey did.`

just a joke, as I mentioned before on here I have been caring for my wife the last 4 yrs who has the same Dementia as Bruce Willis
God Bless and please forgive me for any time I’m an asshole. I need to do a better job of remember that we all have our own stuff going on and you never know what someone else is going through.

you want muscle though, not fat. ;)
Remember when Jim Rowinski (sp?) came onto the floor after his tremendous off-season muscle development. He was a beast. Not say DJ has to get to that level but if he can add a bit more muscle while retaining his athleticism, then he will be even more dangerous.

Fletch is going to be so jacked by the time the season starts ;)

Ha ha, but nobody really talked much last season about how he wasn't getting bullied much any more. Much kudos to this kid, who has worked his butt off to get bigger. When it obviously isn't easy for him like it is some. I'm hoping (predicting?) for a monster (take THAT) senior season. If the new kid is really a 2nd pg, we've got a rim protector (or 2), and Myles and Gicarri improve, Braden and Fletch are going to be able to go all out, but when tired, rest.
Going to be a fun year for them I think.
Hopefully for all of us.
