I wonder how much of this is a pure numbers game as we get down to the deadline. Sonogo from UConn just announced that he's staying in the draft. Does something like that make it more likely Zach returns to school?
I heard Painter told him he could shoot 20 three-pointers this year, so he's coming back.

I was wondering that also. I couldn't really think of another reason to wait until the last minute to announce. It's not like some NBA team is going to call him today and say they have thought it over and they promise to take him 1st round.

Just saw that Zach was recently in OKC. They have picks 37 and 50 in the second round, I’m thinking Zach’s time as a Boiler could be done. Hope I’m wrong but my guess is he’s gone very soon.
Or he’s taking advantage of every opportunity to soak up as much information as he can before he returns. I would take the trip too, if I was him, regardless of whether I was leaning toward staying or going.

He has to withdraw his name before midnight or he can't come back to college ball. So if nothing is said by him tonight then he is not coming back to PU.
