Colvin in the Portal

I agree with you on another creator.

That said, having Cluff instead of Furst, will open things up some. Defenses weren't paying attention to Furst at all. They won't be able to do that with Cluff. Playing 4 on 5 against a good defensive team is not a fun experience.
It's going to be a huge upgrade. Nothing against Furst as he is tall and was active...but his hands. His hands are/were terrible. So many missed rebounds, bunnies and passes of his hands.

Then you weren't paying attention to our scoring droughts against good defensive teams where nobody could get a good look.
Next seasons team desperately needs another creator.
We got tons of good looks against the best defense in the country. Just didn’t hit many of them.

Sure it would be great to sign a $2 million wing. It isn’t happening,

i only saw a few minutes of game film but what jumped out at me about Cluff was he seemed very "clever" with his hands shooting the ball. Funky angles and side spins and such looked like a big part of his game. Not overwhelming athletically so that will be important. a bit Jokic like. No, I'm not comparing.....
Showed glimpses of being a nice passer.
Hopefully the rebounding carries over.

Definitely has some craftiness to his game....some flashes reminded me of John Amaechi - for those of you with a few miles under you. Started out at Vanderbilt and then played three years at Penn State after the old-fashioned transfer. IIRC, he was all-conference his senior year, '95.
