Different strokes for different folks, but IMO for at least the last 25 years the NBA is infinitely more “entertainment product” than an actual sport.Lots of free streaming services that they probably can’t track and no one wants to keep paying such a high premium for not that great of a product
Media is more and more fractured. Streaming gets more expensive. More and more deals spread games across a myriad number of platforms.Saw nba viewership plummeting, this year and consistently over the last 12 years

Saw a recent game had 75 missed 3sI've read a lot of comments that say it's the fact it's just turned into a long range shoot out. Watching people just chuck it from deep constantly gets boring.
I stopped watching pro sports years ago.
I have/do watch the Pacers some, but overall with the NBA, I prefer basketballSaw nba viewership plummeting, this year and consistently over the last 12 years

82 games, so none of them individually mean much until the playoffs start. And no one cares about or even understands the silly midseason NBA Cup.Saw nba viewership plummeting, this year and consistently over the last 12 years

Those aren't tweaks like MLB did. That's actually enforcing the rules that are there.Time for rule tweaks like MLB did
-address travel steps
-tighten fouls
-limit on 3’s per team?
Yeah, runner on 2nd is goofy, like kickoffs is oddThose aren't tweaks like MLB did. That's actually enforcing the rules that are there.
You couldn't possibly limit 3s per team.
MLB's tweaks aren't great IMO. I don't like banning the shift, I think the 3 pick-off limit is weak, and the runner on 2nd in extra innings is the dumbest thing this side of the new NFL kickoff rule.
