I am disappointed in our record thus far this season, yet I understand that this is the first year of coach Walters's tenure with Purdue. He inherited a team depleted in talent with the departure of Brohm taking a key offensive lineman and some previously committed recruits all of whom would have been needed talent to play this year. He did his best on short notice to attack the transfer market. But, with the prospect of our high-quality recruiting class this year I think the future looks bright and we all have to be patient.
