During the scrimmage Saturday there was a deep pass into the NE corner of the field. The defender was in perfect position, got a a hand on it but lost an animated struggle with the receiver to keep it. After the TD, Nick was stalking down the sideline, looking for the coverage guy (with a look on his face like he was getting ready to chew Plutonium). But when he finally found him, he put an arm around his shoulder, pulled him in confidentially, spoke with him and then let him go with a pat on his shoulder. Great seeing that attention, great seeing him be intense and positive at the same time.

Absolutely! This whole coaching staff is a keeper. Great seeing a positive head coach and coordinators that know how to develop their players. Reminds me very much of the Tiller days.
