One way I can tell CJB is going to be a great HC is he appears do do things with great intensity. He doesn't seem like a guy that took this job and is preaching pateints while he rebuilds. The agressive nature he already seems to be recruiting with to me means he plans to win this year while he rebuilds.

I don't know for sure obviously but that's the feeling I'm getting. Love the hire. Love the experience at QB he has to work with right away. I also really like the staff continuity he was able to keep with a lot of his hires.

I would agree. the biggest difference is that I'm seeing action rather than just hearing words. One of those actions was going after juco players when he had very little track record of doing so at WKU. and he got their commitment before the deadline so they could enroll early. And he is going after players he built previous relationships with and has recruited over the past 2-3 years. Hazell brought nobody to Purdue that he had recruited previously. and people are actually seeing him out recruiting rather than just hearing about it. I admit I wasn't a huge fan of him before he came to Purdue. I wanted a big name like Miles. But I will repeat, I have seen his actions, and unfortunately, for some on this board, My expectations will be raised. We have a big recruiting weekend. I no longer have hopes we'll gain a commitment. I now have expectations that we will gain 2 and possibly 3. and maybe more.
