We don’t have room on the roster.Sometimes players want to forge their own path. I wish him well.
That’s not true per se…I think we have 2 roster spots open if we culled some walk ons. That said, there’s no real path for him to play or develop here.We don’t have room on the roster.
We currently have 14 players on the roster including 2 returning walk ons. CMP likes those 2 walk ons and is not ‘culling’ them for another walk on. The 15th spot is being kept open in the event he decides to bring in a player mid season. Is that allowed now?We currently have 14 players on the roster including 2 returning walk ons. CMP likes those 2 walk ons and is not ‘culling’ them for another walk on. The 15th spot is being kept open in the event he decides to bring in a player mid season. That said, there is no room.
With the way CMP values history and legacies, I can't imagine he wasn't recruited at some point. Not sure he was recruited that hard, although no doubt staff looked in. Butler got a good one. Good spot for him to develop.
I will say with his genes from both Mom & Dad he will likely be something as a Jr/Sr......but it will take some time and maturing.
Who knows in today's college NIL landscape, he might end up somewhere else by then. Perhaps Purdue will be in the picture, then??
