Havent heard too much about walters but according to this person several players werent very happy with several staff members. Work ethic and professionalism were severly lacking if the stories are accurate. Bobinski made a couple comments about the staff yesterday.

I think he can be a good college QB, it's hard to judge our QB's , between the OL and WR's not being able to get separation, it's like going into a meat grinder.

Nor would I. Browne was the qb of the Fla state championship team, class 7A, as i recall, a couple of years ago. A qb whisperer, to build some confidence, would go a long way for this kid at the college level.

Hes big and athletic. I personally like his demeanor and competitiveness on the field. I hope he sticks around and gets proper coaching to see what his ceiling could be.

i dont think it mattered much who was qb. awful ol and no quality wr. i doubt the qb at iu could have done anything with those players

I honestly dont know. Card could have been better than browne. Theres a long list of things that got walters fired. The biggest frustration i had with him was thst he was touted as a defensive coach. There isnt one good thing i can say about our defense. The scheme sucked, the tackling sucked, we lost containment too many times, no adjustments, no corrections. No improvements. I dont know how anyone could watch purdue and think i think this guy can help me in some area even as a positional coach.

the limited time he got, he showed a great deal more athleticism and quicker decision making than Card and Card isn't a stiff. He did make some not so great passes too, but he made some fantastic throws so the skill seems to be there. I'd think with a good QB coach, Browne will be very good in a couple years time.

Card is not expected to come back. Purdue could still have two scholarship QBs in sawyer Anderson and Davila (assuming he stays) and would expect the new coach to purdue to pursue at least one transfer, likely 2+ like Walters did. If Helton it could even be Caden Veltcamp.
